Social media react after House indicted Donald Trump

Today is definitely a historic day in the presidency of Donald Trump, the House of Representatives having voted for his indictment. After several hours of debate in the House, things ended with the removal of Trump from two articles, the abuse of power and the obstruction of Congress.

Now that the House has done its part, that does not mean that Donnie is not yet in power. Now things will go to the Senate. Donald Trump is now the third president in the history of the United States to be indicted by the house. If at least 67 percent of the Senate, currently run by Republicans, vote for the sentence, Trump will be removed.

While that doesn’t mean Donald Trump is out of the office yet, you know social media had things to say after the House vote. Some celebrities such as Meek Mill and Trevor Noah have weighed in on the issue.

Meek said, “I can’t lie, I’m waiting to see what Trump has to say about this lol, he should just be smashing out. He should go live on the gram (Instagram).

I can’t lie, I’m waiting to see what Trump has to say about this lol, he should just go out with a bang ???????????????????? he should go live on the gram

Trevor Noah said, “HISTORY: Donald Trump has just won a popular vote for the first time.”

After the House’s ruling, Trump went to Twitter to share his early thoughts in a meme that said, “Really, they’re not after me, they’re looking for you. I’m just on the way. “

Donald Trump has been charged. This does not mean that he is automatically removed from office. Then the Senate will hold a trial to assess the charges of the House.

So far, no president has been removed from office by the Senate. https://t.co/iS1xE8FQ6y pic.twitter.com/qbUnVE4XeT
