Sonam Kapoor’s recent Instagram post is his reaction to the Jamia Millia incident?

A number of Bollywood actors, women and filmmakers have spoken out against police violence against students at Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University. While some of them have chosen not to comment on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the NRC, a few have expressed their rejection of these government policies.

Actress Sonam Kapoor recently quoted Anne Frank in her recent article on social media. Actress Khoobsurat shared a painting by MF Husain and quoted Anne Frank in her caption that said, “I see the world slowly turning into a desert; I hear thunder that will one day destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions of people. And yet, when I raise my eyes to the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty will also end, that peace and tranquility will return once again. “

Sonam Kapoor was last seen on screen in The Zoya Factor by director Abhishek Sharma opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
