Sony has opened pre-orders for the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 special edition PlayStation 5 console bundle, console covers, and DualSense controller.
Pre-Orders Now Available
Pre-orders went live on July 28 at 10am local time (10am ET / 7am PT in the US).
Availability
All of the products are available from Sony at PlayStation Direct (United States / United Kingdom) in countries where the online store is available. They will also be available at other select retailers in some regions.
The products will be available in limited quantities at select retailers in many countries around the world.
Product Details
The PS5 Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle ($599.99 / £569.99) includes a custom console cover design and a matching DualSense wireless controller. It also comes with a voucher for a digital copy of Spider-Man 2’s standard edition.
Spider-Man 2 PS5 console covers ($64.99 / £54.99) and the special edition DualSense controller ($79.99 / £69.99) are also available for separate purchase.
Release Date
All the products will be released on September 1, ahead of the Spider-Man 2 release date of October 20, 2023.
Price Cut
PS5 has received a significant price cut, with Sony temporarily discounting the console by £75 / €75 in Europe.
New Spider-Man 2 Content
Sony has recently released gameplay videos and a story trailer for Spider-Man 2, showcasing new features and villains such as Kraven the Hunter and Venom.
Additional Titles
Insomniac Games, the developer, may also be working on a third unannounced title, in addition to Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.
