Southern Turkey Struck by Another 4.5-Magnitude Earthquake

Today, a new 4.5-magnitude earthquake hit Kahramanmaraş province in southern Turkey. Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, AFAD, said in a press release that the quake was concentrated in Akin Ozu district and occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.

There were no reports of potential casualties as a result of this quake, which hit the state again.

Interestingly, a massive earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck southern Turkey and northern Syria on February 6, followed by another earthquake measuring 7.6, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks, killing dozens of thousands of people and damaging buildings and properties in the two countries.
