Spain has found the third package bomb at Torrejon Air Base

On Thursday, Spanish authorities found a third booby-trapped package at Torrejon Air Base in the capital, Madrid, hours after the Spanish arms company ‘Anstalza’ received a booby-trapped package, which was preceded from another package that exploded in front of the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid. And local newspaper El Pais reported that a package similar to the two packages sent to the Ukrainian embassy and the Anstalza arms manufacturing company was found at the Torrejon de Ardoz air base in Madrid.

And he explained that “at three in the morning, the military unit of the air base notified the security forces that they had received a suspicious envelope, and the necessary measures were immediately taken, while the national police examined the package”.

In the past 24 hours Spanish police have announced that a booby-trapped package exploded at the Ukrainian embassy in the capital, Madrid, injuring a member of the diplomatic mission.

Spanish authorities have addressed the explosion of the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid as a “terrorist act”, while Ukrainian authorities have ordered increased security measures for all its embassies abroad following the incident.
