Turkish police found the bodies of five Afghans who were stabbed to death inside a house in the Turkish capital on Thursday and authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
And i media locals reported that the bodies had been dumped several days ago in an apartment located in the Altindag district, north-east of Ankara.
The five bodies were also found after family members contacted the police and reported their loss, according to (Anadolu Agency).
A neighborhood that hosts immigrants from Syria and Afghanistan
The bodies were found in the low-income district of Onder in Ankara, which is home to many migrants from Syria and Afghanistan.
No information was immediately released on the identity of the victims. Investigators have not yet identified the motives for this crime.
About 140,000 Afghan refugees and asylum seekers live in Turkey, according to the latest data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
