Storage Problems Solved: Pokémon GO Increases Inventory Limit for GO Fest
The problem of storage on Pokémon GO
Seven years after its release on iOS and Android, Pokemon GO is still a phenomenon gaming world which brings together millions regular users. The game offers you to capture Pokémons with the use of your smartphone, via the use of augmented reality.
But after all these years of service, a problem persists and annoys the most invested players: storage – of Pokémon and objects – which quickly becomes a problem after several game sessions. Originally, Pokémon GO only allowed you to store 350 items and 1000 Pokemon. But face at the insistence of players, Niantic has decided over the years to expand the inventory, with a few coins, of course.
Inventory goes XL for GO Fest
Over time, Niantic began to offer storage expansions to accommodate players who were running out of space. Now he is possible to acquire expansions for the item bag or Pokémon storage. Against 200 PokéCoins, or about 2 euros, you can increase the storage by 50 and thus transport up to 6300 pokémons and 5300 objects. The good news of the day is that this limit has just increased. Dataminers have thus spotted the new limit in the game files, now set at 6800 pokémons and 5800 objects.

This new inventory extension still represents 20 euros in real money, unless you have taken part in the game enough and collected the requested PokéCoins. Either way, this is still great news for Pokémon GO players, especially given the arrival of GO Fest which has just begun. During all the weekends of August, players will be able to take part in different events, take up challenges and thus complete their pokédexes.
