Street Dancer 3D Trailer Review

Rating: 3/5

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are back with a powerful Street Dancer 3D trailer. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film appears to be located in London where an international dance competition is in progress. We are presented with the two main teams, The India team led by Varun Dhawan and the Pakistan team led by Shraddha Kapoor. The two teams disagree with each other and would go as far as possible to win the competition. The dance maestro Prabhudeva is their mentor.

With intense dance moves, Varun’s warm body, Shraddha’s ultra-cool steps and Nora Fatehi’s iconic movements, Street Dancer 3D is like Step Up 3D with an Indo-Pak touch. In the middle of the trailer, we find out that Shraddha’s dance group supports illegal immigrants. Which is confusing who is on which side and what role Aparshakti Khurrana is in the film. It’s fun to watch but it doesn’t give much information about the characters. We know that both groups dance well, Varun speaks broken punjabi and both groups hate each other.

Featuring beautiful slow-motion shots and beautiful locations abroad, the trailer has certainly aroused our interest, but we will only find out what this dance drama has in store for us during the Republic Day weekend.
