Sudan 3 officers killed after raiding in a house of an ISIS cell

Al-Arabiya sources in Khartoum reported that Sudanese security has arrested 11 terrorists, including foreign nationals, and the intelligence death toll has risen to 5.

The Al-Sudani newspaper reported in earlier, citing a security source today Tuesday that three officers had been killed after raiding in a house that was said to belong to an ISIS cell.

The newspaper quotes the source as saying that the three dead officers had the rank of captain and that “the terrorist cell opened fire on the security forces, who were not sufficiently armed”.

The newspaper also reported that several other law enforcement members were injured in the incident.

The source said: “The security forces managed, after the clashes, to arrest a number of members of the cell after others fled.”
