Sudan’s Collaboration with Global Human Rights Instruments Embraced by the Kingdom

The Kingdom’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva participated in the interactive dialogue in within the Human Rights Council on the situation of human rights in Sudan.The Permanent Representative, Ambassador Abdul Mohsen bin Khathila, gave a speech in which it welcomed the successful cooperation of the fraternal government of the Republic of Sudan with international human rights mechanisms, in particular with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, in order to fulfill its obligations to achieve security and stability and improve the human rights conditions of all its citizens, despite the challenges it faces face.

The Ambassador called on the international community to continue providing support to the Government of Sudan in order to move towards achieving political, economic and social stability for the Sudanese people in compliance with the aspirations of the Sudanese themselves.
