Taliban bans barbers of shaving beards and playing music in in Helmand Province

The new regulations mark the latest in An series of restrictions placed on the people of Afghanistan based on the strict interpretation of the Taliban of Islamic Sharia.

“You are urgently informed that as of today, beards are shaving and… playing music in barbershops and public baths are strictly prohibited,” the local government said on Sunday in a statement.
