How Black Friday works with retailers
The most important selling prices are online at Walmart.com at 7 PM PT on Wednesday 27 November. (In Walmart stores, doors open at 6:00 PM local time on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28.)
The company is already teasing current deals, it is called “Buy Now Deals”. They can be found at walmart.com/buynow. Here’s the Walmart Black Friday ad. Walmart also promotes a Pre-Black Friday event with a focus on toys and electronics that will begin at 9:01 PM PT on Thanksgiving (12:01 PM ET on Friday, November 22).
To take advantage of some of the best selling prices from Best Buy, you must be a member of the retailer’s My Best Buy rewards program, the basic level of which is free. Discounts are available online and in store. And Best Buy has also unveiled its Black Friday ad, with many specific products that it will sell later this month for the real Black Friday time frame.
Amazon’s deals start on November 22.
