A few weeks ago I received an e-mail from Docs Teach with the idea to make history lessons with historical comics. That e-mail sent me to Docs Teach where there is a small collection of historical comics. Since Docs Teach is a project of the American national archive, all comics have a record locator that can be clicked to take you to the online catalog of the National Archive. It was there that I started to browse hundreds of records with comics and comic books. In the following video I show how you can use the online catalog of the National Archives to find historical comics.

Every document that you find in the National Archives, including comics, can be uploaded to Docs Teach, where you can then build online activities that your students can complete online. In this video that I published a few months ago, I show you how to make activities on Docs Teach.
