Apple introduced a paradigm-changing product – the iPad – in 2010 and it didn’t stop there. Here are the top five Apple business products from 2010-2019.

Apple did not kiss from 2010 to 2019; instead, the company that previously introduced revolutionary products such as the Mac and iPhone released another innovative device on the 2010 iPad, as well as four other products that are important to businesses.

iPad

When the iPad was introduced at the height of the netbook craze in April 2010, Apple effectively offset the growing trend in favor of touch-sensitive tablet computers that have changed the way business users work. The fast and portable iPad eliminated the need for a specially wired keyboard and also simplified e-mail, messages and collaboration.

Now seven generations deep, Apple iPads are powerful desktop and laptop replacements that offer impressive speed and performance, and the support pencils (Figure A) perfects the combination of electronic stylus and tablet. Whether it’s sending and receiving e-mail, managing calendars, producing documents, editing spreadsheets, generating presentations or managing other tasks, iPads have changed the way everyone from retailers to manufacturers until caregivers work daily.

iPhone X.

The original iPhone, introduced in June 2007, changed smartphones forever. The collection and integration of a reliable virtual keyboard, texting, special apps, secure operation, ease of use and music in a digital trim mobile phone all combined in the original iPhone to change the way business users communicated and behaved.

In September 2017, Apple debuted the iPhone X with its Face ID feature (Figure B).

The authentication feature was new for the eleventh generation smartphone and was one of the first widely available technology that allowed business users to bypass simple passwords whenever device access was needed. With Face ID, users could view their phone to authenticate, make purchases and gain access to protected documents, spreadsheets and presentations. While security experts argue the merits of Touch ID, Face ID, complexity of the access code and other biometric checks, Face ID is one of the first generally accepted technologies that allows business users to uniquely identify themselves and store keystrokes during authentication.

Apple Business Manager

Every organization that manages multiple users and devices understands the complexity of tracking app purchases and associated licenses, implementing those applications, and keeping those applications and devices up-to-date and up-to-date. Apple Business Manager, launched in the summer of 2018, is a time-saving solution that organizations can implement to simplify the management and management of mobile devices. As such, the platform is an important business product that meets the need for companies to manage device enrollment and volume purchases. And with ISO 27001 and 27018 certifications, companies can be confident that the platform meets generally accepted standards for information security.

Apple Watch

Similar to the way in which Apple with its iPhones and iPads gained market share in the markets for mobile phones and tablets, the company has also captured the market share of wearables. Business meetings will never be the same later. From calendar reminders to the ability to secretly check and answer messages, the Apple Watch (Figure C), improves the way business users interact with their iPhones and Macs, among other devices. Properly configured, business users can use their Apple Watch to even unlock their computers.

Launched in April 2015, the popular portable has become ubiquitous. You will be hard pressed to attend a board, department or other meeting or municipality and not to see at least one Apple Watch in the room in my opinion.

The Watch not only offers time, but also helps business users know when it’s time to leave the office for a short break, go to a meeting in the city, or confirm that an important task is coming. The Apple Watch may not be a necessity, but the device certainly contributes to efficiency and productivity and changes the way business users interact with their other electronic devices.

Retina display

Smartphones and laptops have long been useful devices. The ability to open spreadsheets, send and receive e-mail, compile documents, and perform a variety of other tasks while on the move has always been useful, even necessary. But smartphones and laptops were not always known for their superior resolution or color reproduction. That all changed in June 2010 when Apple released its first Retina display on the iPhone 4, and again in June 2012 when the first MacBook Pro with a Retina display was announced.

Instead of the less capable screens that many business users got used to, Apple’s Retina introduced a fresh new option. Here were displays with a high pixel density and amazing brightness.

Apple’s patented Retina technology uses a specific comparison to help calculate the optimum display. By calculating the pixel density and the average distance from the screen to the eye, Apple engineers were able to improve the sharpness of images and text. While all users benefit from this, those who work in advertising, marketing, product development, promotion, and similar industries that rely on graphic reproduction and representation, especially value innovation.

The next decade

What the next decade has in store is someone’s guess. With the departure of Apple’s iconic designer, Jony Ive, the company is increasingly developing a reputation for service, as opposed to product, innovation. That said, Apple has long survived on the merits of its hardware, a principle that is reinforced by the acceptance and acceptance of Apple TV + by Apple TV and other users of Apple devices. But one bet is certain; Apple will probably continue to introduce paradigm-changing technologies on average once every decade. And it’s been almost 10 years since the iPad was introduced, so the next revolutionary release could be around the corner.
