Tekken: Bloodline: Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer, and Everything We Know So Far About

Jin Kazama’s home was destroyed by a powerful enemy Ogre. So he trains with his ardent grandfather Heihachi Mishima as he waits for his chance to get even before the third King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Even after nine major games, eight spin-offs, three feature films, two animated films, and several comic book spells, the Mishima dynasty continues to thrive. The Bandai Namco Tekken video game was introduced in 1994. The infamous family of a killer, greedy corporations, and super martial artists were a driving factor in every subsequent installment. Their twisted and violent family history will once again be the main story in the upcoming anime, Tekken: Bloodline, a Netflix adaptation of the beloved fighting game series.

Tekken Bloodline 3

At the beginning of Tekken 3 and between the events of Tekken 2 video games, viewers will enter a dystopian world filled with pain, horror, and years of emotional damage for generations through the eyes of young Jin Kazama. Those familiar with the game’s canon know the character as essential in every game after Tekken 3 has been the main hero in the sequel above. The 2010 live-action movie Tekken was based on the same story, but it is best known for getting a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The recent teasers and trailer for the new anime version look more promising.

Tekken: Bloodline Release Date?

Tekken Bloodline

The release date of Tekken: Bloodline was announced in the new official trailer released by Netflix on July 19, 2022. The trailer revealed the release date for the much-anticipated first season of the movie to be August 18, 2022. With this announcement, Tekken has become the latest to join the series, a long line of video game adaptations from Netflix, which includes popular titles like DOTA, Resident Evil, and Arcane, with many more games.

Tekken: Bloodline Trailer

This 2-minute and 29-second official trailer for Tekken: Bloodline picks up directly where the first official teaser left off. Jin’s mom, Jun Kazama, is the one seen here training him in the family’s self-defense method. In a dreamlike sequence, he recalls his mother telling him to control his temper. But things go from bad to worse when someone breaks into his house and pits Jin and his mom against it. Jun tells her son to run as the hulking figure (familiar to Tekken veterans as The Ancient Ogre) quickly overtakes them. Shortly after fainting, Jane recovers to find that everything he has been tending to has been destroyed.

Tekken: Bloodline Plot?

Tekken: Bloodline plot is loosely based on the popular video game Tekken 3. In The Game, Jin is separated from his mother, who Ogre kills. Ogre is a monster that seems to have some connection to the Mishima dynasty. The last thing Jin remembers about fighting is that his mother ordered him to look for his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Heihachi agrees to train Jin most brutally, smashing everything he ever believed in and turning his body into a living weapon. A thirst drives Jin to participate in the King of Iron Fist Tournament to lure ghouls and revenge, who are supposed to actively search for the most potent fighters. The trailer perfectly sets up Jane’s struggle to the top and his expected final confrontation with the monster in its proper form in a split-second snapshot of the clip.

Tekken Bloodline 2

Will there be Tekken: Bloodlines Season 2?

There is no officially confirmed about the anime’s second season. However, Tekken has some of the most extensive and most complex events in video game history, so there are many sources to draw inspiration from. Season 1 will likely be a more in-depth retelling of Tekken 3, with a few aberrations, and may end with Jin’s revenge. But the story probably doesn’t end there, as there is a good possibility of a twist that most Tekken fans know and shock those familiar with the game’s lore for the first time.
