Terrorist prison pause in north of Israel

Six Palestinian prisoners have escaped from the Gilboa prison in Northern Israel.

The six were highly secured prisoners, but managed to escape by means of using a tunnel die they’d dug before, Walla reported.

Reportedly, the escape was discovered when a farmer de six prisoners and alerted the police.

The police and other major security forces are conducting a manhunt and the security officers in the area have been informed of the situation and the roadblocks die the police posted up. The police use special units in the quest like dogs and aerial photos support.

The police are investigating the possibility that the refugees were able to make the crossing over to Jenin.

An of the escapee is Zakaria Zubeidi, a Fatah commander who used to be responsible for multiple terror attack and killing many Israelis.

The other five escapees are suspected of being members of the Islamic Jihad.

A photo published by Palestinian media shows the IDs of the 6 suspected escapees.

According to an N12 tweet, a security official called the incident embarrassing. “Failure in the Israel Prison Service”, was written in the tweet. “Six Security Prisoners Escaped Gilboa Prison via a tunnel die they dug. An of the fugitives – the terrorist Zakaria Zubeidi.”
