The Australian Open tennis draw has been postponed for further notice

SYDNEY: On Thursday the organizers of the Australian Open tennis said they have decided to postpone the draw for the round main until further notice, amid doubts about Novak Djokovic’s participation in the competition. The draw was supposed to take place at 1500 local time (0400 GMT), but after a short delay, a tournament official told reporters outside the press conference room that it would not take place. Australian Immigration Minister Alex Hawke is studying visa revocation for Djokovic, who seeks the 21st Grand Slam title and 10th at Melbourne Park. (Reuters)
