Citizen, a neighborhood surveillance app, will reportedly pay New Yorkers $ 25 per hour for streaming live crime scenes and more public emergencies, according to a Sunday New York Post report. The app goal is to empower more ordinary citizens to do the same, according to the report.
“The citizen has teams in place in some of the cities in where the app is located available show how the platform works and for model responsible transmission practices in situations in which events are unfolding in real time, “a Citizen spokesperson told the Post.
The problems of the Citizen app real-time safety notices, live video of emergencies near you, as well as updates during natural disasters or protests, according to the app description in Google Play.
