The coalition targets an air defense system for the Houthi militia south of Marib

The Coalition to Support Legittimacy in Yemen targeted an air defense system for the Houthi militia south of Marib on Tuesday evening.

The coalition announced on Monday that Saudi air defenses had destroyed an explosive march launched by Houthi militias towards Khamis Mushait.

Interestingly, Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed an explosive drone launched towards Abha International Airport.

“We are dealing with threat sources to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks,” the coalition said.

It should be noted that these militias have long continued their attempts to target civilian and economic targets in the Kingdom, in attempts that have aroused the condemnation of several Arab and Western countries, underlining their support for the Kingdom and its security, denouncing the terrorist attacks of the Houthis.

These repeated and increasing attempts by the Houthis during the latter period arrive in one moment in which the United Nations is trying to establish a ceasefire in Yemen, in order to relaunch negotiations in order to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict that has lasted for years.
