The direction of the tropical depression towards the Oman Sea

The latest information and data received indicate that the tropical situation, which is classified as a tropical depression, is located north-east of the Arabian Sea, and the surface wind speed around the center is estimated. in about 17-27 knots, and is centered at latitude 22.5 degrees north and longitude 68.8 degrees east, and is about 935 km from the coast of the Sultanate (Ras Al Hadd).
The tropical system continues to move north-west and forecasts indicate the possibility of indirect effects on northern and southern parts of the Al Sharqiyah governorates in the next few hours in the form of rainfall of varying intensity over some areas, with the possibility of some rain clouds that will flow with sunrise and morning hours for parts of the governorates of Muscat and the interior with scattered showers of rain. The direct effects of the tropical depression on the Sultanate’s atmosphere are expected to begin gradually with Sunday / Monday night hours, God willing.
