Military expert Yuri Knotov revealed the characteristics of the Stalingrad tactical rifle, which entered active service in the Russian Armed Forces.
In an interview with the Izvestiya newspaper, the expert notes that the TSVL-8 Stalingrad tactical rifle has a firing range of 1,500 meters, a five-shot magazine, and high target hitting accuracy.
According to him, during the fighting, sniper rifles are very necessary, because they allow you to eliminate the leadership, that is, make the enemy forces without a “head”.
He says: “In addition, armored vehicles can be disabled if the sniper can choose the right place to shoot, since one shot is enough to disable a tank and an armored vehicle. This type of weapon is also designed to penetrate body armor. that Ukrainian forces take cover and defend themselves primarily in apartment buildings, without snipers it is difficult to expel them from these houses.
For its part, adds military historian Nikita Buranov, the “Stalingrad” rifle showed excellent results in combat. So he became in demand in foreign armed forces.
