The fastest train in the world makes its debut with speed up 373mph, report says

A trip in 5 and a half hour train may not be sound mashed potato badbut the world’s fastest train could be in able to take you there in 3 hours reaching maximum speeds of more of 300 miles per hour. That sounds better no?

On Tuesday, China debuted the magnetic levitation (maglev) train capable of maximum speeds of 600km / h, around 373mph, according to a Reuters report citing the state media. The train also reportedly wonnon not be that loud or request a lot maintenance like other trains.

The maglev lets the train float during the journey, without touching the track. Currently, China only has one maglev line, which extends from Shanghai airport to the city is launched in 2002. Since then, China has led nearly two decades of research. Other countries, including Japan and Germany, are studying Maglev, according to Reuters.

Reportedly, the train developed by the state-owned China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation. The CRRC could not be reached immediately for comment.
