The Game Awards 2019: Where and when is this year’s show?
Geoff Keighley’s annual video game awards show, The Game Awards, will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Thursday 12 December at 20:30. ET / 5:30 pm PT. You can watch this year’s show here on YouTube.
The 2019 Game Awards will also be broadcast live on Twitch, Mixer, Facebook, Twitter, Steam and other platforms.
Keighley said this year’s edition of The Game Awards promises new game revelations – “around 10 new games / projects are being unveiled”. However, there are some well-known revelations: We’ll take a closer look at Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 4 Ghost of Tsushima game. something new from Epic Games and Fortnite; an unannounced game called Naraka; new trailers for Gears Tactics, Final Fantasy 7 remake and Ori and the Will of the Wispurs; and more about Valve’s virtual reality game Half-Life: Alyx. And hey, maybe we’ll see more of the new Dragon Age game that BioWare teased at the Game Awards last year.
The 2019 Game Awards will also include performances by former Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime, E3 sensation / game developer Ikumi Nakamura, Golden State Warrior Steph Curry, Death Stranding star Norman Reedus, Chvrches and Green Day (the will be present) include a game announcement).
