The general secretary of the OIC expresses condolences to Afghanistan for the victims of the earthquake

The Secretary General of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, Hussain Ibrahim Taha, expressed his condolences to Afghanistan for the victims who died in the earthquake that struck the east of the country today.

He expressed his condolences and solidarity with the families of the victims of the dead and the afflicted, asking Almighty God to bless them with his mercy and forgiveness, to grant a speedy recovery to the wounded and to protect Afghanistan and its people from all evil.

The Secretary General called on humanitarian organizations in the Islamic world to accelerate the delivery of the necessary humanitarian and relief assistance to those affected by the earthquake and to the people of Afghanistan, who are facing difficult humanitarian and economic conditions that require urgent action to alleviate their suffering.
