“grain deal”

The grain deal, which was initially struck in July, provides a protected sea route with the aim of easing global food shortages by allowing exports to resume from three ports in Ukraine, one of the leading producers of cereals and semi oily.

This came after decreased shipments from Ukraine following the Russian military operation in February played a role in the global food price crisis of questyear, but there were also other important factors, including the Covid-19 pandemic and climate shocks in course as how drought it is in Argentina than in the United States.

While Ukraine and Russia are the world’s leading grain exporters, Russia is the world’s largest grain exporter and a leading fertilizer exporter to global markets.
