The heads of government of communication in the GCC countries hold their first joint meeting

Interim Information Minister Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi chaired the first meeting of heads of government and national communication centers and offices in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, with the goal of developing joint media work.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Qasabi welcomed the heads of government communication centers and offices in the GCC states, stressing the importance of integrated work on mediaworking on the continuity of this meeting and converting its results in executive programs contributing to the development of a joint and integrated media work, working on the continuity of this meeting and converting its results in executive programs.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on the importance of strengthening the communication work in Gulf, Arab, Islamic and international events, defining lists of joint events, activating cooperation and joint work in subject training in the productive and creative work sectors, and forming a working group to prepare a vision for the sustainability of joint government communication work.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Al-Attar, Head of the UAE Government Media Office, Chief Executive Officer of the National Communications Center in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Youssef Al-Binkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Communication in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, Acting Director of the Government Communication Center in the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Suad Al-Ishaqi, and Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabr Al Thani, director of the Government Communication Office in of the State of Qatar, and First Secretary at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, in representation of the Government Communication Center in the State of Kuwait, Abdullah Riyad Al-Saleh, and the Director General of the General Department of Information and Strategic Communication at the Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Abdul Rahman Rashid Buhiji .
