Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Hall hosted the Golden Square races for the Republic Cup, which brought together Al Mina Club, Ahli Sanaa Club, Wahdat Aden Club and Shaab Hadhramout Club.
In the opening match of the tournament, the people of Hadhramaut won the match by defeating Al-Ahly of Sana’a, while the second brought together the Port of Aden and the unit of Sana’a, where Al-Mina defeated Al- Wahda.
The General Basketball Federation has set the league matches and rest days for the participating teams, while the competitions will continue with two matches, between Ahly Sanaa and Wahda Sanaa, Port of Aden and Shaab Hadramout.
The hall of martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna has hosted various sporting events and activities such as basketball, volleyball, bodybuilding, table tennis and others, after the hall was rehabilitated and equipped with the support and implementation of the SDRPY, after its discontinuation at long term.
The rehabilitation project of the martyr Ali Asaad Hall was born in response to the needs of young people in the field of sport e in recognition of sports impact that improves social integration, increases the level of physical fitness and contributes to the achievement of social progress in the governorate and the various governorates.
