Dortmund: The club Germany’s Borussia Dortmund announced today Wednesday that they will miss the efforts of their Norwegian national team striker Erling Haaland during the match against Glasgow Rangers tomorrow Thursday in the second leg of the 32nd round of the European League. Dortmund lost 2-4 in home first leg and Haaland desperately needed Haaland’s efforts in the second leg, but the 21-year-old forward did not recover from a hamstring injury, an injury that kept him out of action for four weeks. Dortmund will restore the efforts of their right-back Thomas Meunier during his trip to Glasgow after recovering from his injury. Dortmund angered their fans after losing the first leg in home against Glasgow, but on Sunday he responded strongly by beating Borussia Monchengladbach with six unanswered goals in Bundesliga. (Dpa)
