“The Islamic World” condemns the attack on mass transport in Somalia

The Muslim World League condemned the terrorist attack which targeted mass transit vehicles in the Herat region of the Somali Republic, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the Secretary General of the League and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, reiterated the position of the League and the entire Islamic world, rejecting extremism, violence and terrorism in all forms and from all sides, and the League’s support for efforts to confront this ideology and curb the brutal crimes it engenders.

On behalf of the Muslim World League and its international councils, bodies and councils, he stressed full solidarity with the Republic of Somalia in its war against terrorism and opposes everything that threatens its security and stability, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Somalia in general, asking Almighty God to urgently grant the healing of the wounded.
