The grant was signed today at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Riyadh, in the presence of: His Excellency the Counselor at the Royal Court, the Supervisor General of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, His Excellency the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, and the President The Executive Director of the Saudi Development Fund Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al- Murshed, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, the Special Envoy of the Secretary General of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation for Afghanistan, Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakheet, and the head of the Trust Fund of the Islamic Development Bank, engineer Muhammad Al-Saati.
This grant comes as a continuation of the air and land rescue bridges provided by the Kingdom in the recent period to the brotherly Afghan people and has supported them over the past decades for a number of projects. in Afghanistan, including humanitarian, health, education, water and food security, at a cost of over a billion riyals, in based on an awareness of one’s responsibility and role in achieving security and prosperity for Afghanistan and its fraternal people.
