Today, Tuesday, the Organization for Islamic Cooperation condemned Israeli declarations on sovereignty over the city of Jerusalem.

A statement from the organization states: “The Organization for Islamic Cooperation has expressed its rejection and condemnation of Israeli statements on the alleged sovereignty over the occupied city of Jerusalem and the demolition of the Al-Rajbi family building in the city of Silwan, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions “.

The organization affirmed its “firm support for the right of the Palestinian people to full sovereignty over the city of East Jerusalem, as the capital of the state of Palestine”.

The organization also renewed its condemnation of all Israeli positions and measures aimed at changing the legal and historical situation in Jerusalem, including “the policy of colonial settlement, house demolitions, forced displacement of Palestinian citizens and the attempt to divide the time and space of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque “.
