The President of the National Assembly of Kuwait adjourned the extraordinary session due to lack of a quorum and the absence of the government

Kuwaiti National Assembly President Marzouq Al-Ghanim updated the special session of parliament today; The lack of a quorum and the absence of the government.

Al-Ghanim explained in his speech that bringing him to the session is based on article (116) of the constitution, which states that “the ministry must be represented in council sessions by its president or some of its members”.

The president of the National Assembly had previously invited to attend the extraordinary session which was to be held today at parliamentary request to discuss a series of reports from parliamentary committees on proposed laws and bills.
