His Excellency Jose Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, today received His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, in the Swiss city of Davos . At the commencement of the reception, His Highness conveyed greetings and appreciation from the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques, the two honorable Kings Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and First Minister – may God protect them – to Your Excellency, and their best wishes to the government and people of the Democratic Republic of East Timor for further progress and prosperity.
During the reception, they reviewed aspects of bilateral relations in many areas of joint cooperation and ways to support and improve them in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and achieves greater stability and prosperity for the two friendly countries and peoples, as well as exchanging views on developments in the regional and international arenas and efforts being made in that sense.
The reception was attended by the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
