The Prime Minister of Yemen is in Shabwa to discuss the modalities of the battle to defeat the Houthis

Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik arrived on Monday in Ataq, the capital of the Shabwa governorate in the east of the country, to review the military, security, economic, humanitarian, service and development conditions in Shabwa and in the governorates liberated.

Government sources reported to Al Arabiya.net that Abdul Malik held a meeting with the local authority and the military and security leaders of the governorate to discuss the modalities of the battle to be defeated Houthi militia from Shabwa.

He was received by the Prime Minister upon his arrival in Ataq. Governor Shabwa Muhammad bin Adyo, local and executive authority leader, a number of military and security leaders, a number of sheikhs, dignitaries and social figures.

This visit comes in light of the military clashes witnessed in Shabwa between government forces and the Houthi coup militia on several fronts in the western districts of the governorate.

Interestingly, the forces of the Yemeni army announced a few days ago the arrival of massive military reinforcements in support of the army, which is fighting battles to purify the areas. in which militias have infiltrated the districts of Baihan and Asilan, west of Shabwa.

The army also managed to defeat the Houthis from several locations on the western outskirts of Shabwa governorate.

In addition, the areas of al-Safra, al-Suwayda, al-Saleem and al-Alam have been purified, while the battles continue between the advance of the army and the mass flight of militiamen to the governorate of al-Bayda.
