The ruble reached a weekly high against the dollar

The Russian currency rose against the US and European currencies in the second half of trading on Monday, and the dollar traded below the level of 60 rubles for the first time since July 5, 2022.

By 17:08 Moscow time, the dollar exchange rate fell by 1.44 rubles (ruble = 100 kopecks) to 59.48 rubles, for the first time since July 5.

At the same time, the euro exchange rate fell by 2.61 rubles (ruble = 100 kopecks) to 60.11 rubles, according to data from the Moscow Exchange website.
