The Shura committee discusses the strengthening of bilateral relations with the Cuban ambassador

The Saudi-Cuban Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by Council Member and Committee Chairman Dr. Ibrahim bin Mahmoud Al-Nahhas, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom, Vladimir Andres Gonzalez Quesada.

Dr. Al-Nahhas stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Cuba in various fields, in in particular the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Cuban Parliament.

For its part, the Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom wanted to develop the distinct relations that unite the two countries in various fields, emphasizing his country’s position on repeated terrorist attacks on civilian objects in the Kingdom and all forms and forms of terrorism.

During the meeting, which was attended by members of the Saudi-Cuban Parliamentary Friendship Committee, the two sides passed in reviews the efforts made by the two countries in the fight against the Corona virus, and the methods of cooperation and exchange of experiences in various fields.

The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries, to help strengthen the common denominators and aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Interestingly, the Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committees aim to develop and strengthen the bonds of friendship and communication between the council, councils and parliaments in countries brothers and friends in a way to improve the Kingdom’s external relations and to achieve greater communication and coordination in various parliamentary forums at regional and international level.
