Buenos Aires: i media said the medical staff and nurses supervising the deceased star Argentina’s Diego Armando Maradona will face a manslaughter trial. And i media locals in Argentina reported that a judge approved the prosecution’s request to hold a public trial for the accused, and the trial could be in late 2023 or early 2024. And the name of Leopold Luque, the personal physician of Maradona, is among the eight accused, in addition to his psychiatrist Agustina Kosachov, according to the investigators, the medical staff did not provide assistance to Maradona, who paid in state of disability, and left him to his fate. All have denied the charges and, if convicted, face up to 25 years in prison. Maradona died at the age of 60 on 25 November 2020, in a private home in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, a few weeks after undergoing brain surgery.
