The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve is at its lowest level since 1984.

The weekly review of the US Department of Energy showed that oil inventories in the US Strategic Reserve decreased by 4.7 million barrels over the past week and reached 382.3 million barrels.

Thus, the index fell to its lowest level since the week of January 6, 1984, when the stocks in the strategic reserve stood at 380.7 million barrels.
