The Wolf Among Us 2 is back in development at Telltale

According to LCG Entertainment, which revived the original Telltale publishing house of the game earlier this year, Wolf Among Us 2 has resumed development.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is the first new Telltale game announced since LCG acquired the rights to the Telltale name in 2018 following the company’s demise.

The game is being developed by AdHoc Studio, which is made up of former Telltale Games employees. Developers of the project, who were part of Telltale’s original team, The Wolf Among Us, include directors Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart, writer Pierre Shorette, composer Jared Emerson-Johnson, and voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette.

The Wolf Among Us: A Telltale Games series released in October 2013 as a five-part season. Based on the Fables comics series of the Vertigo label by DC Comics, the story of a murder investigation was told. The sequel was plagued by Telltales financial problems and eventually canceled.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is released on Windows PCs as the exclusive Epic Games Store and on unannounced consoles. No release date has been announced.
