The Yemeni government welcomes the announcement of the extension of the armistice

The Yemeni government welcomed the announcement by the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to extend the armistice for another two months, under the previous clauses, until October 2, 2022 AD, after consulting and approved the government.

The official Yemeni news agency (Saba) said the Yemeni government recalls that the main goal of the armistice is to stop the Yemeni blood loss due to the war triggered by the Houthi terrorist militia and facilitate the free movement of civilians and movement of goods, humanitarian and commercial services in all of Yemen, which has been achieved in connection with facilitating the movement of civilians.
