These are Giuliani associate Lev Parnas’ most explosive claims in his wild interview with Rachel Maddow

Parnas spoke with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on her show, the day after the House Intelligence Committee launched a slew of files containing text messages and handwritten notes detailing the role played by Parnas in Ukraine.

Here are the highlights from Parnas’ interview:

He said sorry to former Marie Yovanovitch for the smear project that led to her being kicked out.

The House Intelligence Committee documents consisted of text message discussions in between Parnas and his associates going over plans for the monitoring of Yovanovitch.

Hyde provided a statement following the release of the text messages, texting NBC News press reporter Josh Lederman the following: “How low can liddle [sic] Adam Bull Schiff go. To take some texts my buddy’s and I composed while we had a couple of drinks to some dweeb I met a couple of times … Bull Schiff is a desperate turd.”

Parnas informed Maddow that Hyde was “intoxicated all the time.”

Parnas apologized to Yovanovitch during the interview for the smear campaign that led to her losing her post in Ukraine.

He stated you can plainly overhear Trump’s telephone call with other individuals

Parnas in his interview pointedly observed that the president can be heard on the other end of the line when he is speaking with somebody else on the phone, drawing on his own experience.

While it may seem insignificant, the detail supports testament by State Department assistant David Holmes in which he said he overheard a July 26 call between Trump and Gordon Sondland, the US Ambassador to the European Union.

George Conway, other half of White Home counselor Kellyanne Conway and critic of the president, then weighed in to validate the information, saying “frequently you can hear him clear as a bell.”

He stated Mike Pence cancelled a journey to Kyiv in evident retaliation for Ukraine not investigating the Bidens

Parnas declared that Vice President Mike Pence was likewise “in the loop” on the Trump’s pressure campaign on Ukraine.

Pence was originally set to go to Kyiv, Ukraine, to participate in the inauguration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but cancelled the journey, Parnas stated.

He said he was “100%sure” that Trump asked Pence to cancel his journey after Ukraine didn’t announce an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his child Hunter Biden, who served on the board of Ukrainian energy business Burisma up until last April.

” That was the essential to where we are today, because after that, have a look at what takes place,” Parnas continued.

” Within the next number of days, all of a sudden they understand now– they get word due to the fact that clearly when Pence cancels, they get word that Pence is not coming. Now they recognize that what I was informing them was true.”

He said Rep. Devin Nunes ‘wished to assist’

Parnas stated he met with Rep. Devin Nunes “a number of times” in relation to the pressure campaign against Ukraine. Parnas stated Nunes was “was aware” of the campaign and “had a great deal of information.”

” I remained in shock when I was seeing the [impeachment] hearings, and when I saw Devin Nunes staying up there … I texted my lawyer and said, ‘I can’t this is happening because they were associated with getting all this stuff on Biden,'” Parnas told Maddow.

Nunes informed Fox News host Sean Hannity in December that he didn’t recall ever hearing Parnas’ name previously, in spite of call logs revealing he had actually called Parnas and Giuliani three or four times during the release of the Mueller report.

He stated Lawyer General William Barr ‘was essentially on the group’

Parnas stated Barr “had actually to have understood everything” about the investigation into the Bidens.
