Bradley Beal is a player who needs a change of scenery in the worst way. He has spent nine years with the Washington Wizards and none have been worse than 2020-21. There could be a blockbuster trade on the horizon come the NBA trade deadline and the Toronto Raptors could be interested.
Bradley Beal is in the midst of another All-Star caliber season. He is averaging 35 points in 35.6 minutes per game. Beal is shooting 48.5% from the field and 35.6% from three-point range. He is a true game-changer but the Wizards are past the point of saving right now.
Washington is currently 4-13 with no sign of turning things around this season. They brought in Russell Westbrook in a deal involving John Wall in the offseason but the new-look lineup has not worked.
The Raptors are another team that could use some help. Just two years removed from a championship, the Raptors are 9-12 in a conference that they should be competing in. Toronto signed Fred VanVleet to a four-year, $85 million deal in the offseason. He is the new cornerstone player which has brought up the possibility of trading Kyle Lowry.
In this particular deal, they would part ways with some big pieces but it could be worth it in the long run. Toronto needs to improve if they want to climb up the standings in the East.
Beal would be the centerpiece of this deal. Here is what it might take to land him in Toronto prior to the NBA trade deadline.
