Thuram and Desassi included in the squad of France in Qatar

PARIS: The French Football Association said on Monday it had included Borussia Moenchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram and Monaco defender Axel Desassie in the squad for the World Cup finals in Qatar which will start next week. With the addition of Thuram, 25, to the rose in defense of France, the number of players on the team is complete, after becoming 26 players. The French Football Association said Desassi was included in the squad after Paris St Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe decided to leave the national team due to a hamstring injury. After Thuram and Desasi joined and Kimpembe left, the lineup became the following: Goalkeepers: Alphonse Areola – Hugo Lloris – Steve Mandanda.
