Tom Brady, Brett Favre Praise Drew Brees as NFL World Celebrates New King Touchdown

Tom Brady and Brett Favre congratulate Drew Brees after the New Orleans Saints general set the NFL record for most touchdown passes.

Brees outscored Peyton Manning after receiving his overall total of 541 TD passes as the Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 34-7 on Monday.

A Super Bowl champion and MVP, 12-year-old Pro Bowler Brees, who made history in the third quarter, threw four touchdowns to a near-perfect performance in New Orleans. Brees also set a single-game NFL completion record with 96.7% after 29 of 30 for 307 yards at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Congratulations withdrew !! It couldn’t be worth more. Peyton’s pass on anything is an incredible achievement and your records will be hard to beat! But it’s worth a try

New England superstar Patriots Brady – whose 538 stamp had also disappeared from Brees – and the Hall of Famer Favre have been praising the 40-year-old through social media.

Brady tweeted: “Congratulations they did! It couldn’t be more worthwhile to pass Peyton on anything is an incredible achievement and your records will be hard to beat!” But it’s worth a try (winking emoji).

Favre, who was the first quarterback to pass for 500 touchdowns, wrote: “Congratulations @drewbrees on a great achievement.”

Another Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, who won the Super Bowl and MVP during his career, also greeted Brees after the win.

“In a historic night for @drewbrees it looks like it only fits in with a record completion rate of 96.7 percent (tying Philip Rivers) … Coach Payton – what about another screen pass for to make this a more historic night? #WhatSayYouWhoDat? “

Seattle Seahawks QB, Russell Wilson tweeted, “LEGEND! @DrewBrees”, while Washington Redskins veteran Adrian Peterson added: “Photographers’ first ballroom” Congratulations @drewbrees !!!

Drew Brees making history, Michael Thomas making history, the best end to this story will be the Saints in Miami in February ????
