Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are set to be reunited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the former ecstatic to “run it back” with his long time New England Patriots colleague.
Simply hours after Gronkowski hinted he might come out of NFL retirement, it emerged the 30- year-old was undoubtedly preparation to return and was the topic of a trade in between the Patriots and the Bucs. The offer was quickly settled on Tuesday. The Patriots are sending out Gronkowski and a 2020 seventh-round draft choice to Tampa Bay in exchange for a 2020 4th-round choice.

After the trade was made, the NFL’s official Instagram published a video of Brady and Gronkowski smiling in 2019 after the Patriots beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game to reach Super Bowl 53.
The clip, which was accompanied by P. Diddy’s “Bad Boy for Life,” consisted of the caption “these two,” with Brady writing in the remarks: “Run it back.”
Gronkowski retired in March 2019, soon after Super Bowl 53, when he won his 3rd ring and Brady his sixth. In 2015, the tight end was called to the NFL’s 100 th Anniversary All-Time Team together withBrady He is extensively considered among the very best to ever play the position.
