Tom Cruise hangs on wing of UPSIDE DOWN war plane for dangerous Mission Impossible 8 stunt

After pandemic delays, Mission: Impossible 7 is set to hit cinemas on September 30, 2022. Yet Tom Cruise has already begun rehearsing a stunt for Mission: Impossible 8, which will be released on July 7, 2023. The 59-year-old was spotted filming in Duxford when he was sitting on the wing of an upside-down 80-year-old warplane as did a loop-the-loop 2000 feet in the air.

Having taken off in the bright yellow warplane, Cruise climbed out of his seat and clung onto the wing as a nose dive and aerobatics were performed in the incredible Mission: Impossible 8 stunt.

The 59-year-old, who famously does his own stunts, has been having flying lessons in the bright yellow plane for several weeks. A few years ago he was previously seen piloting fighter jets for the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick too.

Tom Cruise was sat upright as the plane did the loop-the-loop

At 2000 feet, Cruise was attached to the 80-year-old World War II plane by a harness and then dangled himself upside down on the wing. So when the aircraft flipped upside down he was sat upright.
