The New Stealth Armor Debuts in Marvel’s Invincible Iron Man #7

INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #7

Tony Stark debuts his brand-new stealth armor in a preview for Marvel’s Invincible Iron Man #7. The issue comes from writer Gerry Duggan, artist Juan Frigeri, colorist Bryan Valenza, and letterer VC’s Joe Caramagna.

In recent issues of Invincible Iron Man, Tony Stark has lost control of his company after it was taken over by Feilong, an X-Men villain who has since used his newfound resources to develop a deadly army of Stark Sentinels. Tony briefly faced these mutant-hunting machines in Invincible Iron Man #4 before flying to Krakoa to warn Emma Frost about the oncoming threat.

Iron Man Enters the “Fall of X”

Invincible Iron Man ties directly into the upcoming “Fall of X” event, which is teased to potentially bring about the end to mutantkind’s Krakoan age. The event kicks off at the X-Men’s third annual Hellfire Gala, which Invincible Iron Man #8, releasing on July 26, plays into.

The synopsis for Invincible Iron Man #8 reads, “As the X-Men throw their latest Hellfire Gala, Iron Man has to contend with the new Stark Sentinels flying through New York! Can Tony stop these mutant-hunting machines alone? Guest-starring Emma Frost!”

Both Invincible Iron Man #7 and #8 will feature cover art by Kael Ngu and variant cover art by Derrick Chew, Sergio Davila, Ceci de la Cruz, Bob Layton, and Paul Mounts.
