Dealer group BRAM Auto Group has created a vertically integrated auto retail environment in Manhattan, with Lexus and Toyota dealerships that share the same floor in a multi-use building. Using digital tools, the stores are able to showcase their vehicles which are stored in North Bergen, New Jersey, six miles away. When a customer chooses a vehicle, it is driven into the city and delivered to Manhattan where the customer sees it for the first time. The dealerships also have a 52-bay combined service area on the third floor with the infrastructure and approvals in place to build a residential tower on top. The project, which took almost a decade to bring to fruition, received financing from Toyota Financial Services.
