Ramallah: The Palestinian Taekwondo Federation has announced the transfer of the Palestinian International Championship “G2” to the Birzeit University of Ramallah and the Governorate of Al-Bireh, after it was scheduled to be held at the An-Najah University of Nablus, in because of the Israeli siege imposed on it. The federation stated in a statement that the tournament will be held from 27 to 29 October. And he indicated that “this decision came according to the instructions of the International Taekwondo Federation, in order to preserve the safety of all participants from different countries, due to the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on the city of Nablus about two weeks ago .” The federation added: “To avoid the cancellation of the tournament, the decision was made to move it locally and not to allow the occupation violations to force the international event to fail.” For the fourteenth day, the city of Nablus and its fields live under a tight siege imposed by the Israeli army.
