Trump Wishes Everyone A ‘Delighted’ Crucifixion Day

President Donald Trump created an uncommon welcoming Friday to those honoring the day Christ was nailed to a cross: “HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY TO ALL!”

He later on wanted everyone a “great” Great Friday at his press rundown.

The disconcerting welcoming described the most mournful day of the Christian calendar. It marks the abuse of Jesus and his death upon a cross. Easter, on Sunday, marks the event of Jesus’s resurrection. (The “good” in Great Friday describes the day being “holy.”)

Trump’s dream was especially jolting considered that the country’s death toll from COVID-19 has surpassed 18,000 and continues to rise.

Critics explained once again that, though Trump presses the program of evangelical Christian leaders, he’s foggy about real Christianity.

They indicated Trump’s blooper during his presidential campaign when he spoke at Jerry Falwell Jr.’s Liberty University and priced estimate a Bible verse– to student snickers– from “two Corinthians.” The New Testimony book is called “Second Corinthians,” as in the apostle Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians. (Trump also swore twice throughout that speech.)

In an earlier video, Trump steadfastly declined to call his preferred Bible verse, stating, “I don’t want to get into verses.” And when asked if he chose the Brand-new or old Testimony, he evaded: “The whole Bible is incredible.”

Others described Trump’s reported haziness about Pearl Harbor. Washington Post press reporters Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig kept in mind in their book, “A Very Stable Genius,” that when Trump will visit a Pearl Harbor memorial, he relied on John Kelly, then his chief of personnel, and asked: “Hey, John, what’s this all about?”

PLEASED GREAT FRIDAY TO ALL!

This is a solemn day for Christians. It’s not called Delighted Friday. Like not understanding what the significance of Pearl Harbor was, I ‘d recommend the President does not understand what took place on Great Friday according to the bibles.

“Happy” Great Friday? Is that like “Two Corinthians”? Scams.

I’m Jewish and I understand that #GoodFriday is a day of reflection.

How about reviewing the truth that your sluggish action to #COVIDー19 has expense 16 K people their lives & & counting.

Great Friday is the day Jesus passed away. Not exactly sure that is a “Happy” vacation for individuals that honor it.

However I make sure you currently understood that, being an incredible Christian.

Truly,
The 3rd Corinthian

“Happy Good Friday” isn’t a thing, simply as you do not state, “Happy Yom Kippur.” Likewise not things: “Have fun repenting!” and “Enjoy your fasting.”

STOP TEASING PRESIDENT TRUMP! HE DISCUSSES IN HIS OWN VOICE WHY HE CALLED IT HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY RIGHT HERE! pic.twitter.com/EX8hqGnizL

“Once this Good Friday is behind us, and it will be sooner rather than later (except sadly for friends and family of the Nazarene), it must be quickly forgotten. Our Great Empire will BOOM—perhaps more than ever before.”– Pontus Pilate pic.twitter.com/tZ1bL3fMz0

Sir, what do you believe Great Friday celebrates?

— Seth Masket (@smotus)April 10, 2020

There is definitely nothing delighted about this Great Friday.

This is one the saddest however realist image I have actually seen of the lots of lives lost. #TrumpBurialPits pic.twitter.com/x2vK3K6iPe
